Congratulations to CW3 Joseph Swanson and family. They received one-month free rent in the amount of $1656 for completing the Army survey. Thank you to all residents who completed the Annual Army Survey your feedback will ensure continued success in meeting your needs and services.
We are excited to announce big changes are happening with payment options for residents at Corvias Military Living. You now have online and mobile rent payment options. This will save you time in your day and allow you to pay your rent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your own home. If you are already set up with an allotment of your BAH going towards your home each month, this will not apply to you. However, it may apply in the event you need to pay a prorated amount for rent upon move-in or when you move-out and wish to pay an outstanding balance. Click here for a summary of your options.
Physical activity is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle for individuals and families. Thirty minutes of vigorous activity is recommended for adults while children need 60 minutes of play with moderate to vigorous activity level. The combination of physical activity and healthy food choices can help prevent a variety of diseases, maintain a healthy weight, build lean muscle and promote strong bone, muscle and joint development.
Individuals and families can incorporate fun and engaging activities into their everyday routine to help reach their physical activity goals. As summer approaches and you start to plan your summer vacations, think about planning an active vacation. Going to the beach? Instead of merely going to the beach, look for other activities such as fishing excursions, sports activities or biking along the beach you can include into your vacation time. Planning a trip to another city? Explore the city through a walking tour, skate at the local park, visit the zoo or amusement park. Camping is another active vacation that can challenge your physical activity while still having a great time relaxing.
There are many activities ranging from swimming, walking / running or biking you can do within your local community to help get you and your family active. For more information about the local activities click here.
2Lt Ryan Hampton and family welcome a new edition to the family. Her name is Liara, a Weimaraner. Liara's favorite past time is army crawling under the family couch and singing cadence, but it's really barking. She is smart and learning to walk on a leash. Drop by the Community bark park and say hello. Find out how your pet can be featured in one of the monthly newsletters.
