Fort Rucker, named Army Aviation Center of Excellence in 2008, serves as the headquarters for Army Aviation. Fort Rucker is home to the Combat Readiness Center, Warrant Officer Career Center, Air Traffic Service Command, Aviation Center Logistics Command, Aeromedical Research Laboratory, Army School of Aviation Medicine, Army Aviation Flight Test Directorate, and Army Research Institute.
